A Vatican Wedding!

Hello Faithful blogger followers! I haven't mentioned it but I will be taking a big trip to Rome this summer with my wife Suz! It'll be our first time in Rome and we couldn't be more excited. We leave this Sunday. The reason for the trip is that my friend Michael is getting married at the Vatican! If that wasn't enough to convince us to go, the wedding date they chose is on the exact day of our 2-year anniversary. Things have been falling into place for us to be in Rome for this event. It's really quite incredible. We've been taking Italian classes and the instructor recommended staying at a convent just a couple of blocks from the Vatican. We looked into it and it's vastly less expensive than anything else. The other big portion of this came when my mom told us that she was willing to give us all of her frequent flyer miles that she's been saving up! So the flight has been booked, the lodging has been booked, and the anticipation has been building like crazy. Hopefully I'll get to see the Pope at least once!
